Our Premises And Facilities:
IMA newly occupied premises are located in a superb quiet environment. The 8,000 m2 building located in the heart of Kaslik bordering Jouneih Touristic Port makes the academy easily accessible to all and provides the ideal space for maritime training activities. The location was renovated to serve the purpose of the academy and the high quality standards IMA is aiming at:
- A semi-Olympic indoor pool, to provide aquatic
trainings and other water related activities
essential for the development of a skilled seafarer.
- A fully equipped First Aid area including a full
range of medical equipment
- A Navigation Room that is equipped to provide our students enough space to draw and analyze marine maps.
- Classrooms equipped with latest teaching/learning
technologies for a modern interactive experience.
- A full bridge simulator for training, practicing and
planning in a virtual environment. Operating with
the latest software and technologies
- A fully designed and equipped suite simulating a
yacht interior serving as a training studio to the
steward program.
- A fully equipped workshop especially designed to
provide hands on practice to trainees to support
their electrical, mechanical and engineering
theoretical knowledge.
- Private gym, fully equipped with a wide range of
premium equipment, and offering amenities, workout
experiences, group fitness classes, and personal
training to members of the IMA community and to the
public.
